The Basic Truths of Healing™
Segment, after lunch, with Doug De Vito of The Reconnection, ‘Feel For It, Find It, Stretch It’
Dr William Tiller (’What The Bleep’ movie and book) says, during Reconnective Healing, this level of the universe connects with a higher level of the universe.
The Teaching Assistants gave us more reports of healings. One said, Reconnective Healing is so simple and so much fun. Another encouraged us to, love what you do and do it with love.
Doug De Vito demonstrated another example of ‘Feel For It, Find It, Stretch It’.
The previous evening had helped allow for an opening for us to receive this new healing energy and be a conduit for it to pass from the universe to us.
That evening was a step, the catalyst for a process that starts you on your journey into the shift, enabling you to carry and accommodate these new frequencies.
Our hands, being so consciously receptive, are used as a kind of ‘lightning rod’ to bring the energy through.
We were asked to place our hands in normal anotomic position (the position your hands are in, at your side, when you’re not conscious of them), fingers not touching one another. It is a position of ease.
The concept of ease is throughout Reconnective Healing.
Our hands had been activated the previous evening.
Doug now showed us, firstly with one hand, go in, into the space around the patient and feel for something that feels different. You might notice a sensation or a tingling pressure for example. Fine tune your hand with the frequencies by feeling for the spot where it’s exactly the strongest.
Then search for, feel for, another spot, a different spot, with the other hand.
Feel it and find it, then pull the sensation outwards.
One source of information is received in one palm.
One source of information is received in the other palm.
In other words, each hand can play separately.
Stretch the connection out (as if stretching an elastic band), to at least the width of the table.
Feel.
Find.
Stretch. Stretching expands the amount of energy, light, and information, that comes through.
Pull - Listen - Hear - Implement
Feel. Don’t send. As Reconnective Healing practitioners, we are receiving.
Doug was not teaching us a technique. He was just showing us a way to feel the frequencies so that we could feel them prior to playing with them.
After Doug had explained and demonstrated all of the above, we had a practice session.
I haven’t mentioned yet that we had a lot of practice sessions this day and that the room had been set out for this, with half the room being set out with chairs facing a stage in the centre, and the other half of the room was massage tables.
The practical nature of the day is also why I made less notes at the time.
As the practice session began, I was aware of Dr Eric Pearl in the room.
After the practice, someone asked about hearing the stomach of a participant on the table gurgling.
Eric said, tell a patient up-front that their stomach might gurgle.
Often people’s stomach gurgles or makes noise during the session, especially when your hands are over that area of their body. Tell people, before the session begins, that it is a common occurrence. This is because some people may be self-conscious about the noise, and if they’re not told to expect it, they may allow it to keep them from enjoying the experience.
(my stomach gurgled gleefully - and noisily - during my Reconnective Healing session + The Reconnection, both of which I experienced before this seminar)
A member of the audience asked, what do I do if the patient looks uncomfortable, for example in their face?
Eric replied, you could ask them, “are you okay?”
You could also then ask, “do you want me to take you out of the session?”
Eric then asked the audience if anyone they had been practising on had looked uncomfortable. About four people put their hand up. Eric asked each of their partners to stand up. When each of them was asked, did you feel uncomfortable, did you want the session to end, they each replied that whatever they’d looked like to the observer, they had been comfortable and they would not have wanted the session to end.
Each of the three parts of a Reconnective Healing, the practitioner, the patient, and the universe, are at an equal level of interaction. Equal participants in the interaction.
As Reconnective Healers, we can say, “we know” … “we don’t know” … “we are open to possibilities.”
Say to yourself, I am the light. Bring forward the light.
There’s nothing to be afraid of.
This is of the universe.
People keep wanting to fit it into their beliefs. It is bigger than that.
Perspectives alter this.
Not so much what the source is, but what is the nature of the source.
Light = Love
These new frequencies are giving you the opportunity to make a change in the world that will have ripple effects throughout the universe for an eternity.
Is this a path for us to follow?
When we follow our truth we are working in light.
This is about change, healing, and evolution.
Dr Pearl was asked how far to pull the feeling?
His reply, as far as it’s fun.
Remember, present moment awareness.
The Reconnection was brought in with a vibration of 333. That is why, worldwide, The Reconnection is $333.
Plus, there is proportionate value in the thought given about spending that.
We called something by what we allow ourselves to recognize.
As a Reconnective Healer, I carry the gift of healing.
Healing is a whole balance.
Dr Pearl said, that night, after the seminar, we would be like a puzzle being thrown in the air and the pieces would float down into a new position. “In the morning, things will have a different perspective, and so will you.”
From my experience, he turned out to be right.
To borrow from the closing thought of ‘The Reconnection’ book:
Some things are difficult to explain; miracles speak for themselves.
