Hello
“Thank You” to all who have thought about The Cafe this week.
Cyres Cafe happens WITH you.
I hope this communication represents a reminder to keep on track … your track … with your own train of thoughts … and feelings, that point towards the joy of the journey … your JOurneY … all in the direction of your dream destination.
You matter.
MEMBERSHIP
This week, I made the decision that rather than having one subscriber list, two lists would offer more clarity to your experience. Thinking about how things can be arranged to help you experience success …
One focused on Cyres Cafe. That list receives, for example, Cyres Digest.
One focused on Law Of Attraction Matters. That list experiences, for example, the study and practice of ‘The Science of Getting Rich’, the book that helped to inspire the movie, ‘The Secret’, the book that we base much of our expansion on.
As you are receiving this, you are already part of the first list. If you would like to join Law Of Attraction Matters, simply subscribe via www.lawofattractionmatters.com
From now onwards, people who want to newly subscribe to Cyres Digest, join via www.cyrescafe.com or www.cyrescafe.net/blog
RE-IMAGINING CYRES SITES
Many transformations are taking place. I trust, to your taste. This coming week, you will see a new design on the blog. I hope this will make it even more user-friendly for you.
www.cyrescafe.com is experiencing a complete new build, from the ground floor up. I’ll keep you updated with that evolution.
PODCASTS
Previously, I said that I’ve recorded an Invitation to The Cafe from the heart, to you … last night was the perfect time to add it to Cyres Matters, our blog, www.cyrescafe.net/blog. Would love your feedback and suggestions for future Cyres Cafe Conversations podcasts.
with appreciation,
Cris

After the initial high …
Many who watch ‘The Secret’, at the end of the movie experience a high; feeling good, feeling empowered … as if remembering some knowledge they’ve always known, but never put their finger on.
To add to the gut feeling, the feeling of knowing, the feeling of truth, people enjoy being able to label this knowing as ‘the secret’ or ‘the law of attraction’.
Some have told me that the feeling they had watching the movie was bliss.
After the initial high … after seeing the potential that the message holds … and after trying to change in the first post-Secret days, most tend to slowly slip into their old routine and habits.
Apart from having more positive thoughts about their not-so-wanted situation, most stay in their old environment, waiting, and looking, for the next new product, new book, the next movie, piece of music, teacher, … that will give them another high. Such a high is short-lived … and potentially costly!
Many who attend workshops on personal power experience similar feelings. During the workshop, they make contact with their personal power and promise themselves that from now on they will make a change.
After the workshop, returning home, again in their old environment, at best, people keep the initial high of the training for a couple of weeks. Then the environment seems to be too strong and they are sucked into the old ways and vibrations again.
After the first ’shock’ of returning to the old environment, coming from the high of the workshop, people want to open other peoples’ eyes. However, being confronted with scepticism and passive kinds of energy, people slowly adapt to the old ways and lose most of the insights they got.
Some get addicted to the fleeting highs, becoming ‘workshop junkies’ and yet nothing really changes in their life.
If you have experienced any of this, you may feel that real change, for most, does not happen overnight.
Those who do change overnight were on that path long before the workshop, movie, … and the experience simply served as a tipping point for something they were ready for. Those people are then quoted, ‘this workshop changed my life entirely and within 1 month I was able to change my income to a six figure income … I found my life partner because of it …’.
The reality is, and most recent scientific studies show this, that we are addicted to our way of being, even on a cellular level.
We are addicted to our way of being, our beliefs, our perspective, our ‘character’, just like a person is addicted to drugs.
Recent biochemical studies, for example Prof. Candace Pert ‘Molecules of Emotion’, show that body cells feed upon the emotions we have always fed them.
So if we are feeling depressed most of the time, our body cells become addicted to the feeling of depression, and the cells have difficulty absorbing more ‘happy feelings’.
The cells come to feed on depression and they settle for nothing else.
So from a biological point of view, we get addicted to being the way we are and attracting the reality that we have … which is more of the same!
It is hopefully clear, for those passionate about creating the life they want, that just thinking positively only helps for a limited time.
You need to go deeper … the new vision needs to be added into your cells, so that you feel it on a bodily level.
Then you have really changed your beingness!
There are several ways of doing this, and what they all have in common is a continuous enthusiasm and stimulation in the direction of the new way of being. In other words, it takes continuous determination to really change. It takes continuous focus. Some call it discipline.
Every time you come to a comfort zone (outside of The Cafe!), will you find a way out?
If you are strong enough, you can do it all by yourself.
In the evening, when you come back from work, you recharge in your personal environment and make sure you stick to your focus the next day.
If you are not that independently strong to start with, peers can help you to help yourself.
Choose people who stimulate you, people who keep you awake to the truth of who you really are, people who keep you sharp in your desire to change and who will point out to you any behavior that does not fit your desired state of
beingness.
So how is your peer group?
Who do you have to keep you sharp and inspire your dream coming alive?
Who do you hang out with?

What isn’t matter is what matters - The vibrational power of emotions - Smile before you dial
Thoughts create your reality. That is, thoughts mixed with feelings, because the thoughts you are thinking are not only thoughts you are thinking. They also include vibrations.
Your readiness to accept your best thoughts, and truly believe them, can be measured by the emotions you have about them.
When you are true to your emotions, you will really know for yourself how much you believe what you think.
Emotions let you know how close you are to what you are wanting.
Those of you who have worked in a sales position will understand the power of emotions. In selling training, people are told to “smile before you dial,” because on the other end of the phone, the tone of your voice is heard and if you are really enthusiastic, people will buy more. If you feel lousy, you can call as much as you want, you can work overtime, it just won’t be as effective … you will be working inefficiently, without much result.
Your emotions are a signal that tell you how near or far you are pointed in the direction of what you want.
You will find that for some of the things that you think you really want and focus on, the emotional reality is not yet in place, and instead of feeling happy about it, about having it, you feel fearful.
To help yourself, change your emotions about what you really want from a fear level to a knowing level. This can be done incrementally, through processes that pivot your emotions.
The beauty of emotions is that they show you where you are vibrationally on the subject that you want.
Emotions tell you if your thoughts are being contradictory.
Your dominant emotions give you the truth. They explain why the reality of your dream has not shown up already … and how far you are from it.
To attract it, you have to be it.
You attract what you are now, not what you think.
Thinking is only one part, the motor that launches the new reality … it is your emotional vibration that tells you how far you’ve really come.
Be honest with yourself. Listen to what you say, to how you talk. Notice how you feel whilst talking and listening to others.
The vibration you and others emit will clarify why you have the life you have (which is not always the life you want to have).
So mind your vibration and shift your emotional vibrations as if your life depended on it … it really does depend on it
And remember, it’s easier than you think, and, be easy on yourself.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Stewart Edward White and Harwood White:
Curious how we acquire wisdom!
Over and over again, the same truth is thrust under our
very noses.
We encounter it in action;
we are admonished of it;
we read it in the written word.
We suffer the experience; we gradually assent to the
advice;
we approve, intellectually, the written word.
But nothing happens inside us.
Then, one day,
some trivial experience or word,
or encounter stops us short.
A gleam of illumination penetrates the depth of our
consciousness.
We see!
Usually it is but a glimpse;
but on rare occasions a brilliant flash reveals truth
fully formed.
And we marvel that this understanding has escaped us so
long.
