Het geheim is zulk een fenomenale klap met het Amerikaanse publiek de - en wereld bij groot - niet omdat het is zulk een ongelooflijk krachtige werk van geestelijke wijsheid, maar omdat de meeste mensen niet tevreden zijn en desperately een mirakelbehandeling zoeken voor terecht welk zij zelf om het „mondaine“ leven overwegen te zijn. De mensen eenvoudig brengen hun tijd en geld niet aan zelfhulpboeken omdat door hun leven van bliss zo volledig is zij enkel weten wat niet anders buiten hulp zelf te doen; de boeken zoals het Geheim zijn zo groot omdat zo vele mensen dingen verschillend willen zijn en eenvoudig niet het weten hoe te om het te doen.
Wanneer ik de mondaine term „gebruik,“ ik wil niet het boring en gezoem-trommel; Ik bedoel gemeenschappelijk, of typisch. De mensen schijnen deze dagen het leven „koekje-snijder“ het leven - met iedereen te zijn dat gemeenschappelijke problemen en zorgen deelt. Iedereen, namelijk behalve hen die actief buitengewone dingen voor hun eigen leven creëren. Het echte geheim kan in het verschil tussen deze twee groepen mensen worden gevonden: Hen die ding „A“ willen en het krijgen; en hen die ding „A“ willen en niet kunnen schijnen om het te krijgen geen kwestie wat zij doen. Wat precies zij tegenhoudt die niet „kunnen vooruit worden; “ en wat kunnen zij over het doen?
Het geheim concentreerde zich op het feit dat u over wat moet denken u het wilt krijgen. Dit is absoluut waar en volledig; maar het is werkelijk geen geheim. Het zou aan iedereen met hersenen vrij duidelijk moeten zijn die u over dingen moet denken om tot nieuwe situaties te leiden. Overweeg het begrip van medische school, of muzieklessen, of fundamentele militaire opleiding, of de politie of de brandacademie de - of zelfs richtingen op een pakket van microgolfpopcorn; de informatie is essentieel, en ingewikkelder een bepaald doel, de meer tijd en de energie u in het gedachte proces, of voorbereidingsproces moet investeren. Wij allen moeten nieuwe informatie in onze „denkers“ „omhoog“ laden alvorens wij op nieuwe avonturen in deze wereld opstellen. „Er niet in slagen te plannen,“ zoals zij zeggen, „is het zelfde als van plan zijnd te ontbreken.“
Maar wat gebeurt wanneer u de persoon bent die aan een ding denkt en niet het kan krijgen? Wat dan verkeerd is? Wordt het geheim gebroken? Does The Secret work for some and not for others? Don’t blame The Secret for the state of your life – no matter how much it might suck right now. Declare what you truly want; and stick with that thought. The sad fact is that most people simply don’t think positively and constructively – and this is the REAL SECRET… Everyone knows they need to think about what they want; heck, it is almost impossible to NOT think about the things we want. The REAL SECRET is in the answers to this question: “How do I think positively and constructively when I was never taught how, or when I grew up in such a negative environment that it’s all I really see in the world?”
Thinking about what we want is indeed natural; and that isn’t really the secret to getting it. The Secret is in HOW you think about what you want. If you are naturally fortunate enough to have had a relatively positive upbringing where you were encouraged and supported – and taught how to think and create for yourself – then you are one of those people who naturally flow with the current of life.
If you aren’t, however, and you’ve had a life filled with reasons to be suspicious, skeptical, cynical, pessimistic, doubtful, fearful, worried, frustrated, or even angry, then my suggestion is to seek peace before seeking “things” you think will make you happy. The Secret is always working; but until you replace any limiting experiences, programming, traumas, etc, with more positive thought-patterns, you will continue “attracting,” or being drawn to, conditions, events, situations, things, and people, that mostly match, support, or sustain your current mental and emotional state.
What happens when a “negatively conditioned” person starts thinking about money? It starts off with, “Yeah, I’d really love to have a million dollars…” Typically, people without a lot of money don’t think in great detail about money; they just “want” a sum that seems like a LOT to them – no plan, no budget, only wanting. “Gimme a million bucks and I can solve all my problems…” Then, the reality that they’ve never had a lot of money before sets in; and their thinking becomes more negatively polarized, “Like that’s really going to happen…” Sometimes, there is a funny dialogue inside, “I don’t believe it’s possible for me to have a million dollars; but, the book said to think about what I want, so I’m thinking about it… But I still don’t believe it…” When people get stuck in life, there is invariably contradicting self-talk of this nature – “I’m trying, but I don’t see the point.” “Seeing the point” is the first step in any successful venture; your efforts may not be as fruitful if you don’t see the point of your own actions.
Some people have actually lamented that, now they know The Secret, their life is “even worse than before.” This is simply a case of doubt, or guilt, that even knowing “the big secret,” they still can’t get it together and make things happen the way they want them to. It is nobody’s fault that they are where they are in life, experiencing what they are experiencing; but it is each of our responsibility to change the things we don’t like and can’t learn to live with. And, once you even suspect that your thoughts are playing a bigger part in creating your life than you had perhaps thought, it is up to you to think about that and take action. Whose responsibility is it to start paying attention in order to learn what’s really going on to make your life the way it is? You can keep pretending to be a victim; but, once you know there may be a way out, you only have yourself to blame for staying where you are.
Listen very carefully to your inner dialogue; you can’t do that, by the way, with the television on and a mouth full of junk food and soda. A good place to start, if you really want to take control of your life, is to eliminate as many obvious distractions as possible. If you want a major change in your life, you need a major change in the way you think and do things. When negative people think about money, it usually has a minus-sign (-) in front of it – to denote their style of thinking, and the kind of money that they experience as a result. Money with a (-) in front of it represents “other people’s money” – money you owe (bills, debts, credits, etc…). You can have lots of it – other people’s money, that is – and it won’t do you any good at all.
If you could shift the (-) to a (+), however – switch from negative to positive thinking and feeling – then, you’d gradually stop worrying about debt you can’t completely fix right now in this moment. When you stop worrying and relax, a couple helpful things happen. First, as you calm your nervous system and eliminate stress, you don’t spend and consume as much in order to sedate, entertain, and distract yourself from your life. Stressed-out people spend money – lots of money on stuff they don’t need – even if they have to borrow it. Money can buy experiences; but it can’t buy the peace of mind you need in order to enjoy your experiences in life. You’re going to have to learn to calm your own mind if peace of mind is what you want.
Another thing that happens when you relax and stop spending all your time worrying about the things in your life is that you get ideas, or inspirations, that can lead you to great financial rewards. You may get a business idea, or write a book, or do something you always wanted to do but never thought you could. You may get lots of great ideas; but some of them may be scary to you. Great! More negative, limiting thoughts! That’s okay; just realize that NOW you are recognizing the difference between negative and positive thoughts. The Secret doesn’t play favorites; if you think negative thoughts, you reap the corresponding fruit – while positive thoughts ultimately pay positive dividends.
The only problem I see with The Secret is that the wisdom of the ages is small enough to write on a single-line; but too complicated to explain in a single-book, or a DVD. Thinking positively about what you want is indeed the key; but the REAL secret is how to go about creating a shift in your thinking and thought-patterns, or habits. Some people are naturally born with a positive outlook; while others receive “enlightenment” spontaneously – in a “flash.” But now, there is another way to shift your thinking and perspectives from negative to positive – Energy Psychology.
Energy psychology techniques are now being used around the world by tens of thousands of physicians, counselors, life coaches, and other therapists engaged in helping people overcome barriers to success, break through limitations, and turn negative thinking into positive thinking. These techniques are amazingly simple to learn and use; and they produce truly remarkable results in a very short period of time – sometimes within minutes! It is simply astonishing to watch someone utter a word, tap on a point, or sit in a certain posture for a few minutes, and release a deep fear or negative outlook they’ve held onto since childhood. With energy psychology techniques, you can truly break out of your self-imposed prison of negativity and negative thinking; you can learn how to “turn that frown upside down” as easy as pushing a button, or saying a “magic word.”
Among my favorite energy psychology techniques is The Z-Point Process for Personal Peace. Created by Grant Connolly, The Z-Point Process is being widely used as one of the most powerful tools for personal growth and development available today. Z-Point uses a “cue-word,” or key-word, to unlock your mind’s natural ability to restore flow and order in your mind, body, and life – quickly, quietly, and easily. What the teachers of The Secret didn’t tell you is that they each use techniques like Z-Point, or Gary Craig’s Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), to eliminate their own blocks and obstacles – as well as using these tools to help their clients overcome their own issues. There are too many of these techniques available to name them all; but, if you aren’t naturally predisposed toward a positive outlook, you’ll need one of them to overcome your “reversed polarity.” Otherwise, you’ll continue to paint anything you think about with a negative tone.
Don’t give up on The Secret. Whether you call it The Secret, The Law of Attraction, or even if you prefer using such sayings as, “As a man thinketh, so it is done to him,” the Law is still the Law – life still unfolds according to your thoughts and beliefs. If your life isn’t making you happy; you’re going to have to make yourself happy – and then make yourself a happy life. You may have to use Z-Point, self-analysis, EFT, or some other technique to remove negative self-talk or limiting beliefs; but when you do, you will truly be set free to fly. And, for those who believe in their dreams, even the sky is no limit.
