‘While in Asia in 2007, TEDster Paul Koontz got the priceless chance to spend a few days in North Korea. He brought his two kids — and his camera, capturing both quotidian detail (like the military bearing of a lonely traffic warden) and the grand spectacle leading up to the Mass Games. It’s a rare perspective on a culture we know far too little about.’

One Response to “Paul Koontz: Tourist snapshots from North Korea”
Cold- chills.. along with a spontaneous thought popped into my consciousness as I was viewing this video. Wouldn’t it be incredible what GOOD this “focus of energy” could be doing, if directed outward to include the betterment of all of humanity- instead of directed inward?? Just my thought. To be able to freely live- and smile spontaneously, to actively pursue one’s true “life’s purpose” is SUCH an incredible gift. After watching this video, I shall continue to be extremely grateful to this universe that I am able to have “these things”- as they truly are priceless. Thank you so very much to the creator of this informative video.. and to “Cyres Caring Cafe” for posting it here. As I am here, I am also taking this chance to send “Happy Sparkle Thoughts” of positive energies, kindness- and compassion. To anyone who may be needing such things.
