‘In Al Gore’s brand-new slideshow, he presents evidence that the pace of climate change may be even worse than scientists were recently predicting, and challenges us to act with a sense of “generational mission” — the kind of feeling that brought forth the civil rights movement — to set it right. Gore’s stirring presentation is followed by a brief Q&A in which he is asked for his verdict on the current political candidates’ climate policies and on what role he himself might play in future.’

One Response to “Al Gore: New thinking on the climate crisis”
“…and on what role he himself might play in future.”
Yes, the so called climate catastrophe is all about Al Gore. He jumped on this old fear “that heaven will fall on the head” and amplifies it and amplifies it…
Of course there are changes, big changes and the climate is a reflexion of these changes which are an expression of the actual shift of consciousness. But of course, the understanding and interpretation of these changes are the challenge and Al Gore chooses (and creates therefore) the worst possibilities he can imagine. He is a real prophet of evil.
I for my part choose to see these changes - the shift - as something welcome, not threatening, which leads to much greater realms of consciousness and therefore to more joy, more fun and more knowledge (wisdom).
BTW: He is right about “behaviour”. So I wonder why he behaves in a way that might fulfill his fears….
