“Everyone knows that the lives of clouds are very active, but very short,” writes Bruno Ferrero. "Toda a gente sabe que a vida das nuvens são muito activas, mas muito curto", escreve Bruno Ferrero. And that brings us to another story: E isso leva-nos a uma outra história:
A young cloud was born in the middle of a great storm in the Mediterranean Sea. Um jovem nuvem nasceu no meio de uma grande tempestade no mar Mediterrâneo. But it hardly had time to grow there; a strong wind pushed all the clouds towards Africa. Mas ele praticamente não teve tempo de crescer ali, um forte vento empurrado todas as nuvens para a África.
As soon as they arrived on the continent, the climate changed: a warm sun shone in the sky, and down below the golden sand of the Sahara desert spread into the distance. Logo que chegaram no continente, o clima mudou: um quente sol brilhou no céu, e desce abaixo da areia dourada do deserto do Saara propagar-se a distância. The wind continued to push them towards the forests in the south, since it hardly ever rains in the desert. O vento continuou a empurrar-los no sentido da floresta no sul, uma vez que quase nunca chove no deserto.
However, just as it is with young people, so with young clouds: this one decided to break away from its parents and older friends, to see the world. No entanto, tal como acontece com os jovens, de modo a jovens nuvens: esta uma decisão de romper com seus pais e amigos mais velhos, para ver o mundo.

But the young cloud, a rebel by nature, did not obey; little by little, it lowered its altitude, until it was able to float on a gentle, generous breeze down near the golden sands. Mas o jovem nuvem, um rebelde por natureza, não obedecesse, pouco a pouco, ele diminuiu a sua altitude, até que ele foi capaz de flutuar numa suave, generosa brisa baixo perto da areias douradas. After wandering all over the place, it noticed that one of the dunes was smiling at it. Após errantes todos os lados, é percebido que uma das dunas estava sorrindo para ela.
It was because the dune was also young, recently formed by the wind which had just passed. Foi devido a duna foi também jovens, recém formada pelo vento que tinha acabado de aprovar. Straight away, the cloud fell in love with its golden hair. De imediato, a nuvem se apaixonou com os seus cabelos dourados.
- Good morning - said the cloud. -- Bom dia - disse que a nuvem. - What is it like living down there? -- O que é que é como viver para lá?
- I have the company of the other dunes, the sun, the wind, and the caravans which pass by from time to time. -- Eu tenho a companhia das outras dunas, do sol, do vento, e as caravanas que passam a partir de um momento para outro. Sometimes it is very hot, but it is bearable. Às vezes, é muito quente, mas é suportável. And what is living up there like? Eo que está a viver-se lá como?
- There is also the wind and the sun, but the advantage is, I can wander across the sky and get to know everything. -- Também existe o vento e do sol, mas a vantagem é, eu posso vaguear por todo o céu e ficar a conhecer tudo.
- For me life is short - said the dune. -- Para mim a vida é curta - disse a duna. - When the wind returns from the forests, I will disappear. -- Quando o vento volta a partir de florestas, irei desaparecer.
- And does that make you sad? -- Eo que te faz triste?
- It gives me the impression that I am of no use to anyone. -- Dá-me a impressão de que eu sou de não utilizar a ninguém.
- I feel the same way. -- Eu sinto da mesma maneira. As soon as another wind comes, I will go south and become rain; however, that’s my destiny. Logo que um outro vento vem, irei Sul e tornou chuva; porém, que o meu destino.
The dune hesitated for a moment, before saying: A duna hesitou por um momento, antes de dizer:
- Did you know that, down here in the desert, we call the rain Paradise? -- Sabia que, para aqui, no deserto, nós chamamos a chuva Paraíso?
- I didn’t know I could become something so important - said the proud cloud. -- Eu não sei eu poderia tornar-se algo tão importante - disse o orgulhoso nuvem.
- I’ve heard several legends told by old dunes. -- Eu já ouvi várias lendas disse a velha dunas. They say that, after the rain, we are covered in herbs and flowers. Eles dizem que, depois da chuva, nós estamos cobertos de ervas e flores. But I’d never know what that is like, for in the desert it only rains very rarely. Mas eu nunca sabemos o que é como se, no deserto de chuvas que só muito raramente.
This time it was the cloud which hesitated. Desta vez, foi a nuvem que hesitou. But then it started to smile joyfully: Mas depois ele começou a sorrir alegria:
- If you like, I can cover you with rain. -- Se quiser, eu posso lhe cobrir a chuva. Although I’ve only just arrived, I am in love with you, and would like to stay here forever. Embora eu só agora chegou, estou apaixonado por você, e gostaria de ficar aqui para sempre.
- When I first saw you up in the sky, I too fell in love - said the dune. -- Quando eu primeiro que você viu-se no céu, eu também se apaixonou - disse a duna. - but if you turn your lovely white hair into rain, you will die. -- Mas se você transformar sua linda chuva em cabelos brancos, você vai morrer.
- Love never dies - said the dune. -- O amor nunca morre - disse a duna. - It transforms; and I want to show you Paradise. -- Ela transforma, e eu quero mostrar-lhe Paraíso.
And so it began to caress the dune with droplets; they remained together like this for a long time, until a rainbow appeared. E assim começou a acariciam a duna com gotículas; eles permaneceram em conjunto como este há muito tempo, até que um arco-íris apareceu.
The next day, the small dune was covered in flowers. No dia seguinte, a pequena duna estava coberta de flores. Other clouds passing towards central Africa, thought that must be part of the forest they were searching for, and poured down more rain. Outras nuvens passando para a África Central, pensamento que deve fazer parte da floresta que estavam procurando, e derramou estabelece mais chuva. Twenty years later, the dune had become an oasis, which refreshed travelers under the shade of its trees. And all because, one day, a loving cloud hadn’t been afraid to give up its life in the name of love. E tudo porque, um dia, uma nuvem amorosa não tinha sido medo de dar a sua vida em nome do amor.
