Un libro di mine, “Veronika decide morire„ sta adattando allo schermo del cinematografo. Sarah Michelle Gellar interpreterà Veronika.

Quando stavano sparando la pellicola a New York, ho avuto un lettore della miniera Livia Ruas che mi ha chiesto di visitare l'insieme. qui è il suo cliente su questa esperienza:

“Nell'inizio di maggio, ho scoperto che il Coelho che del Paulo il libro “Veronika decide morire„ sarebbe adattato allo schermo grande da produzione delle pellicole di DAS. La gente che legge il libro, noterà alcuni cambiamenti nella versione della pellicola, quale la posizione. Nel libro, la storia accade in Slovenia, ma nel film avviene a New York. Il motivo per il cambiamento è perché la città rende il film più relatable con i loro pubblici, secondo il produttore Mitchell Goldman.

Poiché ammiro l'autore ed amo i film, non potrei passare l'occasione visitare l'insieme della pellicola. Ho ottenuto in contatto con il sig. Paulo Coelho e chiesto lui permesso visitare l'insieme. Poiché è molto gracious, ha fatto il nessun esita a aiutarlo. Una coppia dei giorni più successivamente, ero già in contatto con Mitchell Goldman. Che giorno, l'insieme era a Brooklyn, New York ed esso era il secondo all'ultimo giorno di fucilazione.

Tutto lo ha accolto favorevolmente con le armi aperte: Mitchell lo ha introdotto a tutto ed ha risposto a tutto che desiderassi sapere circa la fucilazione. Ho comunicato con uno degli attori principali sul film, Jonathan Tucker, che gioca Edward. Non potrebbe dovere più giù interrare. Veronika, il carattere principale, interpretato da Sarah Michelle Gellar, migliora conosciuto dal pubblico brasiliano per la sua esposizione Buffy della TV lo Slayer del Vampire.

Durante le cinque ore che ho rimasto sull'insieme, ho guardato due scene che sono filmate. Una delle scene era appartamento del Veronika interno con entrambi i caratteri principali. In seguito, tutti siamo andato alla parte anteriore della costruzione, per l'ultima scena del giorno. Stavo aspettando la scena per cominciare, quando il actress Sarah Michelle Gellar lo ha sorprendo chiedendo se volessi fare parte del film! Naturalmente ho accettato ed in cinque minuti ero nel film come supplemento. Sarah Gellar was one of the nicest people on set, she not only invited me to be part of a scene, but she talked to me between takes and was even more pleasant to me on my second day. Actually, the next time I see her, we both will be wearing some cute tennis outfits (but that is just my wishful thinking).

According to Goldman, they just wrapped filming, and now they have to work on the postproduction. He said they hope to launch the movie in festivals such as Cannes and Sundance next year and are planning for a major worldwide release. Who knows, maybe they show up in Brazil?

My visit was better that I imagined, and would like to thank everyone who made it a great experience, particularly Mitchell Goldman who was in contact with me since the beginning. I also would like to thank Sriram Das who authorized my visit and a special thanks to Mr. Paulo Coelho who made it all possible.

In conclusion, Goldman said that “the condition of alienation experienced by the character of Veronika is something that is common in today’s youth and we wanted to tell that story” explaining on why they chose the book for the adaptation. He affirms that the artistic expression of the book as a film will have some difference, but they hope that these differences will only add to the story.”
