And arriving on the Big Screen … and the small screen … and the computer screen … the Age of Creation and Amazing Possibilities
Enjoyed a conversation with Douglas Vermeeren yesterday. He’s the Creator of The Opus movie, that we talk about endlessly, and enthusiastically, around here!
The movie shoot is complete now. Doug is confident that when people see what he is seeing in the rough cuts of The Opus that people will get excited.
I had to reply, this is a Douglas Vermeeren project, we’re already Excited!!!
This is going to be a wonderful film.
So excited about The Opus! An uplifting inspirational movie, with a story. Fabulous.
I have it on the best authority that everything ‘Opus Extra’ shared here, from the set of The Opus, is true. Again, if you’re reading this Opus Extra, thank you.

This afternoon I went to a pre-screening of The Opus. I loved it. The Secret isn’t really even comparable they are so different. Each one is great in it’s own way. But I did find that Opus gave much more practical advice and stuff I could apply into my life instantly. it was certainly not as “New Agey” and it wasn’t as mysterious. It was a more inspirational/motivational feel and direct information. The speakers were also very good. I think that The Secret only showed a fraction of what powerful people these are. I found the story in the Opus was absolutely incredible. I loved it. I am a little shy to admit that I almost cried at parts. It’s really powerful. I highly recommend this film to everyone as a must see. But go in without the idea to compare it to the Secret. It is NOT the Secret. The Secret was great. But they are SO different. And I liked The Opus better.

I went to The Opus Premiere in calgary last night and was one fo the first people to see the movie. It was excellent! It was very different than the Secret. So when you go, don’t expect that. But the movie was so much deeper and practical. It really left me feeling like I could accomplish my goals. I think it is a much better movie. Make sure you check it out you won’t be disappointed!

I just wanted to put up a post in regards to Doug Vermeeren. He spoke at our offices yesterday and we saw the Opus. He is definitely the best speaker I have ever heard! Hands down. He was energetic and inspiring and I found so much of what he said was 100% right on. Too many other speakers have nice stories without substance. If you are looking for the someone for your meeting you need to book Mr. Vermeeren. it is no surprise why he was just voted one of the top motivational speakers in the world under 40. Anyways, as you can tell I was deeply impressed by his presentation and The Opus. Be sure to check them both out.
