Do you clean your mind? Or do you just clean your hands every day?
As ‘The Secret’ explains, our thoughts are the basis of the life that we create on a day to day basis. Good thoughts and good feelings create a good life, bad thoughts and feelings create a poor life.
So it is essential to use the energy of the mind to its best perspective.
Most of us, because of our upbringing and social conditioning, have learned to beat ourselves up. It is as if most of us walk around with a hammer in our hands, beating ourselves up most of the time. The worst enemy you can ever face, is You, turning against You. And this is what most of us do.
Instead of using our energy to destroy ourselves, to belittle ourselves, and to make us so much smaller than we really are, isn’t it time to become conscious of this process and vow to use this energy less and less to undermine ourselves? In other words: we can become mindful and conscious of what we think, we can remove the weeds, and we can decide not to turn against ourself.
How?
The best way to start initiating this process is to become aware of your thoughts and feelings. Whenever you monitor yourself and find yourself in a negative, beating yourself up mode, you can use the word “STOP!” to stop the process, and then focus on something positive outside of the pattern. As you use this technique more and more, you will see that you are breaking down your negative mode and you will find yourself more and more in an agreeable atmosphere and thought process. As a result, the world around you will change. You’ll be able to evolve to a state of mind where having a negative half hour in a whole day is a very bad day for you … more on this in the upcoming book ‘The Taker’.
