I usually respond to inner urges, as even the seemingly ordinary can bring surprising and most pleasurable results.

I experienced this urge to clear out some cupboards that were bursting with old paperwork and who knows what else (do you have the same cupboards?!). On the basis of, out with the old and in with the new, the weekend before the New Year seemed an auspicious time to be starting afresh. Yes! To Life!

Clearing mindless clutter gives me a warm inner glow, a sense of moving forward and getting things in their best place. Putting things in perspective and shifting my thoughts into a ‘better place’ moves me forward. Onwards and upwards. Eternally continuing, on purpose. As clearing brings that sense of renewal.

So, out with the old, in with the new, and let the light in … wherever you are, now. Count your blessings ~ they are all around you.
