Peter tells me that wherever he goes with the car, to a meeting, an appointment, the bird always travels with him, sitting on the seat next to him, enjoying the ride together with his friend.
It has made such a beautiful impact on his life that Peter now takes his bird with him to the office, where it is free to fly in or out.
He has even changed part of his furniture so that everything always looks clean in his office, all to accomodate his friend.
Today , his bird just interupted one of his meetings because one of the participants was playing with a shining ball pen, and you know how magpies are in love with all that sparkles. So the bird just came flying in and picked up the pen and took it elsewhere, to the surprise of all the participants of the meeting.
Imagine working in a company where this were part of your daily meetings at work, my god would I love to work in such a company!
It made me smile big time¡¦dreaming of that soulbird that always flies next to me!
Thank you Peter, for proving to me that even in corporate world, magic can happen to you. You showed me magic today :)!
Thank you , my friend, for making me smile deeply.
Fly close to me, my soulbird, I long for your presence!

What a lucky guy! I had a Sun Conure twenty years ago, and I still miss him to this day¡¦His name was Yancy, and would go with me every where too. Well, not to work, but we spent a lot of time together. People would ask me, ¡± Aren¡¯t you afraid he will fly away?¡± and I would just say ¡°no¡±¡¦
My ex took him when I decided to split, and I didn¡¯t feel like arguing. Now I wish I would have put up a fight.

I peek in here to read this posting each day since it¡¯s been here- because? Well, it just is SO refreshing and full of joy and appreciation of ¡°these things¡± that exist in life that truly help us to smile.
How wonderful that your friend has formed such a bond with nature, AND is a living example to show others how to live with passion, and an open heart. We can learn so much about life when we are choosing to ¡°see¡± and ¡°hear¡± with ALL of our senses. Thank you SO much for writing this lovely (and FUN!) moment-in-time that left such an impression on you. *sigh* I really LOVE this place, this ¡°Caring Cyres Cafe¡±. ¡°All life forms are welcome here!¡± is what the welcome mat probably says, right?
