I peek in here to read this posting each day since it's been here- because? Well, it just is SO refreshing and full of joy and appreciation of "these things" that exist in life that truly help us to smile. :) How wonderful that your friend has formed such a bond with nature, AND is a living example to show others how to live with passion, and an open heart. We can learn so much about life when we are choosing to "see" and "hear" with ALL of our senses. Thank you SO much for writing this lovely (and FUN!) moment-in-time that left such an impression on you. *sigh* I really LOVE this place, this "Caring Cyres Cafe". "All life forms are welcome here!" is what the welcome mat probably says, right?

What a lucky guy! I had a Sun Conure twenty years ago, and I still miss him to this day...His name was Yancy, and would go with me every where too. Well, not to work, but we spent a lot of time together. People would ask me, " Aren't you afraid he will fly away?" and I would just say "no"...
My ex took him when I decided to split, and I didn't feel like arguing. Now I wish I would have put up a fight.
