Acknowledging and appreciating Martin Luther King Day.
What does this day represent?
What does the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. represent?
45 years ago, words that changed the course of history. What do they represent?
Think about it.
Allow This Day to be a day of vision~in~action.
Civil rights still matter.
Freedom still matters.
We are different and let’s celebrate that. We are more the same than we are different and let’s celebrate that.

Dr. King has shown us that it is possible to create change through the power of love … Let us take his example as proof that we all can make a positive difference for the children.

I share this dream- and I make it my reality. Yes, I do realize there is tragic happenings in and of this world- but as a member of the human race, I refuse to let despair and chaos permeate my soul. For, it is MY belief that the compassion, kindness, love.. and all those things which are inherently GOOD have the potential (therefore the reality) to shift the social consciousness of this planet into something that is wonderful for all of humanity. Each individual, if he or she chooses to do so, can contribute to the goodness that this planet is needing. Lend some words of kindness, extend a “hand up”, volunteer, “BE” that which you dream.
