A little ways back, in a Star Wars fashion, you blogged that you had discovered a place called YouTube which was filled with the most creative creatures imaginable. That stuck. Yes, says I. Truly, screams me! Description Perfection. The minutes I just spent with Pancake Man were pure delight. What a golden nugget in my day. Watching / experiencing others creativity sends me sky high. I marvel at it. More, it just FEELS GOOD to watch.

Hi,
I shall be making pancakes also (we like them so much we have them any time of the year)
We have an interesting time, gathered round, watching them cook….will it be a ‘giraffe’ or a leopard’ ?
we wait in anticipation as the patterns form on the underside.
And if we cannot quite decide what pattern we see…..then we all readily agree, with glee
‘It’s a Pancake!!’

That is so fun that you say ‘giraffe’ or ‘leopard’ because I’ve always seen the cooking spots like that too!! I love looking at the spots and imagining other pictures also!

It’s a pancake!! Yes indeed it is! HAHA! Thanks screams me, to Leaf, for that giggle.
As I gaze down at my cakes, I usually think, ‘flying saucer’.
And then of course, a big p-cake has acres of room for creativity. So then it must be OPEN. It is the palette.
You paint with your pantry. Have a peek inside. Nuts, choc chips? Shaved coconut for some hair with a cherry nose and whipped cream smiling mouth? Could we fit a seascape on a steaming cake? Oh yes!
Powdered sugar creates the waves with bacon birds over the surf. An orange slice sun shines over all.
I am really hungry now!
Delicious daydreams of a pancake before me smiling back at me.

Yesterday evening, when I watched this video for the first time, I immediately got up and made a pancake. Just as I had flipped it, Jennifer walked in with her arms full of dinner… “I couldn’t help it!” “I was hypnotized!” Needless to say, it was pancakes for dessert — with real organic butter and local honey! There is no metaphor or spiritual lesson here… Just a beautiful memory of a delicious pancake. Thanks for the inspired dessert! Brilliant!
*Though my case turned out okay, pancake interuptus can be quite traumatic. I should have taken measures to prevent it, and I didn’t. I was lucky this time; but don’t count on being so lucky every time. The pancake you save may be your own.

Mmmmmmm Life Is Inspired Dessert. We just choose, mostly unconsciously, to make it into something else sometimes.
We are with you in the traumatic event you experienced. Thankful that all is okay. I cannot imagine being offered an alternative mid-pancakegasm. I will bear this in mind and ensure that suitable measures are taken next time. The 5th will be purely devoted to The Pancake. It’s love.
