I don’t believe in war. I do not believe that there is ever just cause for murder or violence upon another soul. I believe that great change can be made peacefully as we have seen through incredible leaders like Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela, to name a few. With that said, this week’s song is entitled “CHILDREN IN A BOX” and it is about the war in Iraq.

I will not mention the fact that this war is completely unfounded and that the President should be impeached for the misuse of our Soldiers in this illegal invasion upon an innocent country…oops did I say that?

This song is about the fact that our human race continues to destroy itself by way of arrogance. Arrogance is ego + ignorance. This means that we continually react instead of sitting back to analyze and address the real root of the problem. We let our ego lead us instead of our intellect.

The only reason why we have not come together peacefully as one World is because we choose to disagree on most things. However, this is a challenge for the mind and NOT the fist. Our ability to think is our greatest asset and force. We do not need weapons to make change. With the power of our minds, anything is possible.
