Hello Lovely Cyres Cafe Hearts

Now that the Winter season in England is behind us and Spring has sprung, my dear Husband and I are, at last (shall remember that patience is a virtue!), cleaning out ‘the cobwebs’ and preparing our motorhome for its first outing at the weekend.

Dare I say that the cold and frost has slightly dampened my spirits, as I keep wondering if we will go ahead this weekend and “drive off into the sunset”.

Maybe that sounds a bit romantic! (I am that!)

The reality is, our destination for this weekend is 25 miles away and we will arrive mid-afternoon!
As Jane says, the VISION is there!
So fun that a Mum is continuously taught much by her Daughter, and it’s been that way since she was a baby … and she won’t mind me saying, she is still, thankfully, brilliantly childlike.
This weekend, we’re going to a place called ‘Ferry Meadows’. When Jane was less tall, we would take her and her Brother there to play and Jane called it “Fairy Meadows”. I do wonder where she got that from!

The weather plays a part in choosing whether to go or whether to stay, as our motorhome is a bit ‘mature’ (!) and not as well insulated as some more modern / newer ones. We love her anyway, and, our joy is simply improved with nicer weather.

We seem to smile with the sun and feel the gloom descend with the darker weather.
How our spirits soar and sink with the weather.
Yet we have no control over the weather (or maybe we do). We have control over our thoughts.

May love and light brighten all our thoughts and fill those shadow moments. Jane would say to me, softly step into the shadow, it cannot be in your light, transform it, you create your reality.

Enjoy a sunny weekend, whatever the weather .. Marion, Jane’s Mum
