A friend of mine called last night and it was obvious that she was very upset. Um amigo do meu chamado ontem à noite e era óbvio que ela era muito perturbado. She had recently broken her wrist and told me that her team leader at work was trying to get her fired for missing work. Apparently her team leader had spoken with several other people concerned (human resources, personnel, etc…) and, for whatever reason, she had convinced them that my friend just shouldn’t come back to work. Meu amigo não acho que ela estava sendo tratada de forma justa, e apelou para perguntar se eu sabia se era legal para eles que a maneira de tratar dela; afinal, tudo que ela queria era de se reunir com o chefe de recursos humanos para discutir como em breve ela poderia regressar ao seu trabalho após quebrar seu pulso.
