In the office at work, we were having a bit of a chat, and Barbara was talking about her trip to a Dog Grooming Parlour with her two Labradors. It seemed that when she returned home she became dissatisfied, as one of the dogs was still quite damp and neither of them had their coat trimmed as much as usual. Marie came into the office at that moment and upon seeing the photo of Barbara’s dogs, promptly offered up information about a friend’s Grooming Parlour that she highly recommended, as she takes her own dogs there. Recognising the right doors, the best doors, for us is one of life’s little challenges and it’s such fun. Riconoscendo il diritto porte, il miglior portiere, per noi è una delle sfide della vita poco ed è così divertente.

I have accumulated a box full of candles and incense and that sort of thing. Ho accumulato una scatola piena di candele e incenso e che genere di cose.

I used to light candles all the time and especially when I was expecting a visitor. Che ho usato per la luce delle candele tutto il tempo e, soprattutto, quando ero in attesa di un visitatore. Would light a nice candle and play soft background music as they arrived, in the hope that it would be viewed as a warm welcome to my home; ‘notice how I have prepared a nice inviting place for you,’ that kind of feeling. I re-awakened to the habit when I visited my Sister on Saturday. I ri-risvegliato per l'abitudine, quando ho visitato la mia sorella il sabato. We sat and chatted on nice comfy red squishy seats and my eyes were drawn to her coffee table, where a lovely pot with a scented candle was flickering gently, and exuding a cosy warm glow. My favourite experience with candles at the moment is to have soft lighting in the room when I sit down with my Husband in the evening. I have a silver coloured tealight pot that has about 20 star shaped holes around the sides. Ho un piatto d'argento tealight colorate, che ha circa 20 fori a forma di stella attorno ai lati. The light from the tealight candle within sends out a burst of starlight. La luce della candela all'interno tealight invia un burst di starlight. It also reminds me of my Daughter and Cyres Cafe. My last post [”What luck for rulers that men do not think.”] was about thinking — actually, it was just as much about not-thinking. Really, all my posts are, in one way or another, about thinking; but there were parts in that last post that could have seemed “anti-media,” or “anti-government.” It was actually nothing more than an invitation for US to wake-up; talking heads is not my term for the people who read the news prepared by other people and approved by others still. Jesus said, “As a man thinketh, so is he.” You may not be religious (I’m really not religious, either…); but the truth does not stand or fall because of the reputation of the speaker. Buddha said, “What we think, we become,” for example; and Gandhi (who was neither a Jew, Christian, nor a Buddhist) expressed the exact sentiment thusly, “A man is but the product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes.” What a gift this is! A friend of mine called last night and it was obvious that she was very upset. Un mio amico chiamato la notte scorsa ed era ovvio che era molto turbato. She had recently broken her wrist and told me that her team leader at work was trying to get her fired for missing work. Che aveva recentemente rotto il suo polso e mi ha detto che il suo team leader sul luogo di lavoro è stato il tentativo di ottenere la sua licenziato per mancanza di lavoro. Apparently her team leader had spoken with several other people concerned (human resources, personnel, etc…) and, for whatever reason, she had convinced them that my friend just shouldn’t come back to work. Pare che il suo team aveva parlato con i leader di diverse altre persone interessate (risorse umane, personale, ecc…) e, per qualsiasi motivo, li aveva convinti che solo il mio amico non dovrebbe tornare a lavorare. My friend didn’t think she was being treated fairly, and called to ask if I knew if it was legal for them to treat her that way; after all, all she wanted was to meet with the head of human resources to discuss how soon she could return to her job after breaking her wrist. Il mio amico non pensare era venga riservato un trattamento equo, e chiamato a chiedere se sapevo se era legale per loro che per curare la sua strada; dopo tutto, tutti voleva era di incontrarsi con il capo delle risorse umane per discutere di come presto Ha potuto riprendere il loro posto di lavoro dopo la rottura suo polso.

There is nothing wrong with, or bad about, stuff — or wanting stuff. Non c'è nulla di male, o di cattivo, roba - o che roba. Wrong and bad are judgments that are simply too easy to make. Sbagliato e cattivo sono decisioni che sono semplicemente troppo facile fare. All STUFF, however, does have hidden costs and consequences for us and our world. Tutti i STUFF, tuttavia, non hanno nascosto i costi e le conseguenze per noi e per il nostro mondo. We could all be a bit more conscious of STUFF rather than being so STUFF-conscious. Potremmo essere tutti un po 'più consapevoli di STUFF piuttosto che essere così STUFF-consapevole. By this I simply mean that we could all think a little more about our impulses before we simply act on them.
