Oh, I JUST am so excited I am radiating “Happy Sparkle Thoughts” of positive energies, love, hope, and compassion all OVER this universe!! : ) A song that I have been captivated with has now a video to go with it.. and I am wanting to share. To me, this song exemplifies what I receive at the Cyres Caring Cafe.

I’ll add the video Sue also sent, in the next post.

Looking at a lovely photo of my dear Husband that was taken some time ago. It captures him with a wonderful warm smile and his face is lit up by it. Laughter lines enhance his face and reflect the generosity and kindness of his nature.

In the background of the photo, there are bushes, trees and flowers in profusion. In the foreground, a pool of water. The water reflects the beauty of nature’s greenery.

Beauty reflected is seen twice.

Our way of looking, our thoughts, can diminish or amplify what we see.

How are you choosing to view your world?

A reflection can double our joy, giving us the opportunity to reflect on our joyousness more than once.

Reflecting on our happiest memories is joy reflected back to us.

The world is our mirror.

I had a hair trim today, much shorter than usual.

It is, in fact, very short.

I felt I wanted something decorative to bridge the gap between hair and shoulders!

So, I bought myself little silver earrings, a delicate silver butterfly, from which drop two long dangling silver threads!! People close to my Daughter call her “Butterfly” and I felt her presence as I gave myself this present.

How good do I feel! Small price for Feel Good Factor.

A pair of butterflies flitted in to my life and I looked in the mirror and said, “Yes, that looks good, and I feel good.”

When you look in the mirror, keep watch for the butterflies, and you may find yourself smiling back.

Yesterday sweet Sue sent these shiney words (most welcome):

Hello, hello dear Cyres Caring Cafe! *sigh* I am just taking a moment to breathe in the positive energies, and appreciate and embrace the uniqueness of individuals who work so diligently to bring hope, love, and compassion to this universe. Ooohhh.. AND to drop off a bucket of “Happy Sparkle Thoughts”! : )

And the gleaming bucket that Sue gifted the Cyres Caring Cafe is golden! I can see my reflection in it! This morning, as I gave each pair of bamboo stems in The Cyres Garden, their daily bucket of water and caring, I imagined that I was pouring golden light into the ground.

See what a difference you make, Sue. Giving the ground in this glorious gratitude garden, golden light. Daily. Boosting bamboo. Boosting me. Boosting Life.

*sigh*

And for Sue, CAnn, Victoria, and All interested in the ‘haircuts’ of the trees in LEOPOLD DE WAELSTRAAT, a (green) update:

The 13 trees on the opposite side of the street to Cyres Cafe have all had a healthy haircut … meaning, they look rather bald and bare! 13 transformed trunks. Tall and trimmed. Slender and stream-lined.

The two men who did the shaving, the purposeful pruning, are nowhere to be seen today, so maybe the trees on this side of the street will stay as they are.

I will, as ever, keep you updated.
Through the seasons, together, we will notice what we are noticing.
I welcome more conversation about trees.

Today Sensational Sue sent a beautiful picture of a blue butterfly full of sparkle. It really shines.

Sue knows now that blue butterflies have significance in Cyres Life. So I am especially appreciating her loving thoughtfulness.

When I see a blue butterfly, I beam!

My heart soars and my soul takes flight.

The butterfly has a background of little pink flowers and little blue flowers amongst little green leaves.

Hmmm.. pondering Wave’s comment- and must agree.. along with the sunshine we need the rain. : ) It is all a matter of balance. BUT.. I JUST am bursting with so many “Happy Sparkle Thoughts” of happiness, positive energies.. and hope.. that I am going to drop them off here. Perhaps there are individuals who are needing help to create their own, and are needing to know that EACH person in this universe is important. *putting away soapbox now* Thank you for all you are doing to facilitate the most precious gifts.. information, unconditional acceptance.. and.. coffee! *LOL*

It’s in happy moments like this that I could run up the Cyres stairs to the third floor, fling open the windows and kiss the stars in the sky!

I am Grateful

I expect that I’m not alone in having a pattern in the way I do things in the mornings.

The first thing I do is peek through the curtains, to see what the start of the day is looking like.

In the dark of winter, thoughts usually turn to
Is it dark and uninviting?
Is it frosty and fresh?
Is it windy, and will I be blown along to work?
Walk, or go in the car?

In the last week, the dawn has begun appearing before I leave for work.
How wonderful it is when the light of the day gently emerges from the night.
When the veil of darkness is lifted, aaahh how my spirits lift with the newness of the day.
The weather seems almost unimportant after the darkness of the winter months.
Going to work and coming home in the dark at the end of the working day is now at its seasonal end.

Welcome to the new day and all it may bring.

I’ve been purposefully giving myself the present of this video every day for about a month. It couldn’t have found me at a better time, as one of my childhood dreams becomes reality, with Cyres Cafe opening on the 19th. I’m not going to say anything more about it for now, rather experience the video for your self, and, this video is a quantum leap in my life. Thank you, Randy Pausch. I will ALWAYS remember you.
