Sitting here softly in a window~seat of Cyres Cafe Antwerp, one of my favourite places to BE. So, what has been happening in LEOPOLD DE WAEL STRAAT this morning? Então, o que tem acontecido em Leopold DE WAEL straat esta manhã? Well, each (beautiful) building has a tree outside of it. Pois bem, cada um (belo) edifício tem uma árvore fora dela. How charming is that, a tree-lined street! Como é encantador que, uma árvore-alinhado rua! Including Cyres Cafe, of course. Cyres Cafe incluindo, é claro. We have our very own natural beauty. Nós temos nosso próprio beleza natural. This morning, there are, what I call, tree surgeons, in the street. Esta manhã, existem, o que eu chamo, árvore cirurgiões, na rua. Hehee, might also call them, tree hairdressers. Hehee, também poderia chamar-lhes, árvore cabeleireiros. The two men have a mechanical lift, like a big Tonka toy; one of the men stands on the platform and the other mechanically raises the platform up, so that the tree can get a thorough hair cut. Os dois homens têm um elevador mecânico, como um grande Tonka brinquedo; um dos homens ergue sobre a plataforma e os outros mecanicamente levanta-se a plataforma, de modo que a árvore pode obter uma profunda cabelos cortados. And oh boy, they are being thorough. E, oh boy, estão a ser aprofundado. They’ve cut two trees so far, with their manual power tool (looks like an electric chainsaw) … and the trees look bald … naked! At the bottom of both trees lies a pile of thin branches, like when you have a lot of hair cut off at the hairdressers and it all lies around your seat until it is swept away. I wonder what they’ll do with all that wood, hope it’s put to good use. Eu me pergunto o que fazer com eles todos os que a madeira, espero que ponha a boa utilização. Which brings us very neatly to The Cyres Cafe Tree that I’m now looking up at. O que nos traz muito nitidamente a Tree Cafe Cyres O que eu estou procurando-se agora em. What a beauty! Que beleza! I wonder if it will be getting the close shave treatment today. Pergunto-me se ele será o próximo barbear recebendo tratamento hoje. It has an old nest in it, which I enjoy looking at and will miss if it’s brushed away. Ele tem um velho ninho na mesma, o que eu gosto de olhar e irá perder se é brushed distância.
I feel blessed that Cyres Cafe has a tree. Eu sinto que abençoado Cafeteria Cyres tem uma árvore. The question of the moment, do I hug it?! A questão do momento, eu abraço-lo?! Now that’s for you to decide! Agora isso é para você a decidir!

What an amazingly gorgeous picture you have painted with your words. O que espantosamente uma linda imagem que têm pintado com as suas palavras. Since you are asking, I not only have a window that looks out on a tree- I have.. Uma vez que você está pedindo, eu não só tem uma janela que olha para fora em uma árvore-me .. a balcony that is.. uma varanda que é o. .. almost IN a tree! quase em uma árvore!
Oohhh.. Oohhh .. I simply LOVE this, as each day I appreciate this fine gorgeously magnificent pin oak tree. Eu simplesmente adoro este, uma vez que cada dia eu aprecio esta multa gorgeously magnífico pin carvalho. The wild birds and squirrels that live among its branches are a wonderful source of amusement, quite frequently throughout a typical day. As aves selvagens e de esquilos que vivem entre seus ramos são uma maravilhosa fonte de diversão, é bastante frequente durante todo um dia normal.
Even MORE amazing, is the fact that I decided upon this place-where-I-am-living.. Ainda mais impressionante, é o fato de que eu decidida a este lugar-onde-eu-sou-vida .. from a thousand miles away, sight unseen. a partir de mil milhas de distância, à vista incognoscível. I take great pleasure in feeding the wild birds (10 species so far!) daily.. Tenho grande prazer na alimentação das aves selvagens (10 espécies até agora!) Diariamente .. and there is a miraculous story (that hatched within the branches of this fine tree) that began unfolding last spring. e há uma milagrosa história (que eclodiram no âmbito do presente ramos de árvore fina) que começou a desenrolar na Primavera passada. A purple finch baby bird. Um bebê de pássaros finch roxo. Now it is almost a year old- and visits me quite regularly. Agora é quase um ano de idade e visitas-me bastante regularidade. Ummm… you might be wondering- so what?? Ummm… você pode estar se perguntando o que-assim? WELL, dear reader.. BEM, caro leitor .. THIS bird… has… NO eyes. Pássaro tem…… PRESENTE NO olhos. Yep.
When I first noticed this, I was in shock, great sorrow.. Quando eu observei este primeiro, eu estava em estado de choque, grande pesar .. and almost “took it in” and would have “caged it”. e quase "tomou-o em" e teria "gaiola-lo". It probably would have ended up dying from a broken spirit- and I just could not be a part of that. Ele provavelmente teria acabado por morrer devido a um espírito quebrado-e eu não podia ser apenas uma parte do que isso. So. Assim. I decided to “hand- train” it.. Eu decidida a "mão-de comboios" ele .. so it would land on my hand when it heard me whistle. pelo que se deverá desembarcar em minha mão quando ele ouviu-me apito. It flies with a “posse” of about five other birds. Ela voa com um "posse" de cerca de cinco outras aves. *LOL* I can always tell when this miracle of flight is close.. LOL * * Eu sempre pode dizer quando este milagre de voo está perto .. as the chirping is ceaseless! como o chirping é incessante! I do believe this is how it “sees”- and doesn’t end up smacking itself into something! Penso, realmente, é deste modo que "vê" - e não acabar smacking-se em alguma coisa! This amazing bond with its friends- and the resiliency which this little sparrow has, has greatly enriched my life. Este fantástico vínculo com os seus amigos-a resiliência e que este tem pouca pardal, tem grandemente enriquecido minha vida.
Yep. I DO “hug-this-tree”! I Do "-este abraço de árvore"! Quite happily. Muito feliz. It provides me with music (the rustling of the leaves, chirping of birds- rain pattering upon the branches). Ele oferece-me com música (a rustling das folhas, chirping de aves-chuva pattering sobre os ramos). It provides me with shade in the summer.. Ele oferece-me com sombra no Verão. .. new life in the spring.. nova vida na Primavera .. and death in the fall and winter months. e morte no outono e inverno meses. The complete “circle of life” if you will. O texto completo do "círculo de vida" se você. This tree provides me with so much mystery and inspiration- I felt I should honour its presence by sharing this story here. Esta árvore dá-me com tanto mistério e inspiração eu deveria sentir-me honra com a sua presença partilha esta história aqui. At THIS place of miracles.. A este lugar de milagres .. wonder.. maravilha .. and inspiration- the Cyres Caring Cafe. e de inspiração-o Cyres Cuidar Cafe.

You will never belive this but …when I was a very young Mom one of the first fun- time rituals I taught my 4 yr old son was… . Você nunca belive este… mas quando eu era muito jovem mãe uma das primeiras divertir-me ensinou o meu tempo rituais 4 anos de idade era filho…. .hugging EVERY tree along the LEOPOLD DEWAELSTRAAT on our way home to the LAMBERMONTPLAATS ! . abraços EVERY árvores ao longo da Leopold DEWAELSTRAAT no nosso caminho de casa para o LAMBERMONTPLAATS! ! ! Your story of the trees there just made me shed a tear, remembering how perplexed we were, staring out our window, every time “our” trees got “shaved bald” . Sua história das árvores há pouco me fez um galpão lágrima, lembrando o modo como fomos perplexo, staring a nossa janela, de cada vez "nosso" árvores got "raspou calvo". . .& how happy in April when they sprouted fresh new leaves ! . & Feliz como em abril, quando surgiram novas folhas frescas!
