June 12th, arrived DFW Airport, Dallas, 8 p.m.
The flight was overdue by quarter of an hour.
I was excited about meeting Donna Collins, who represents Cyres in Dallas. We had spoken on the phone and emailed.
I’d seen a photograph.
This would be our first face to face meeting. Same with regards to Donna’s Husband, Bruce. Vibrationally, I had felt, he is a gentle spirit.
I waited more than 20 minutes for my luggage, as everybody else got theirs. I thought, it’s a possibility that my luggage didn’t make it to the connecting flight. So I went to baggage reclaim. They were very friendly and asked me where I would be staying. Good question! Donna had told me, prior to departure in Belgium, that she was looking for a hotel for the first two nights. Beyond that, I had a room at the ZaZa Hotel. Donna had talked about this hotel so much that I was curious about it. Expecting a beautiful, unique experience.
In the now … no hotel address! I called Donna to tell her that I’d arrived and to ask for an address, so that my luggage could be delivered when it got to Dallas.
20 minutes later Donna arrived.
The first news she told me is, they’ve got me a room at the ZaZa Hotel for the whole of my stay. A room had just become available!
I gave the hotel address to baggage reclaim. They told me, that by 4 a.m., my luggage would be at the ZaZa Hotel.
I’m an experienced traveler and have never been separated from my luggage before!
Donna and I walked to her car.
The temperature was quite warm. About 32 degrees celcius. Quite humid. Felt a bit like my experience of New-Delhi.
I met Donna’s Husband, Bruce. As I had felt vibrationally, he is a nice, accepting, gentle man. Was immediately at ease with him.
Donna sat in the back of the car, so I sat in the front. She told me that to ensure a more gentle journey, Bruce does the driving! She has more ‘temperament’.
In the 20 minutes drive to the Zaza Hotel, we talked about the following day’s event with Dr Joe Dispenza. Including the preparations Donna, Bruce, and the team, had actioned, the mailing they’d sent to the Dallas community, the people I would meet the next day, and other exciting topics.
Arriving at the hotel, Bruce asked, would I prefer to get something to eat, or to get some sleep. I preferred the latter. 23 hours of traveling had made me look forward to a good sleep!
My room number was 445. The room was called, dragonfly. Beautiful, cozy and unique.
There were two quotes, written on glass:
Thought
The test of a first rate intelligence is the ability to hold 2 opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.
One should for example be able to see that things are hopeless and yet be determined to make them otherwise.
F. Scott Fitzgerald
A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single men contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
I noticed from literature that the restaurant is also called ‘Dragonfly’ … family to butterflies that have a special meaning to me.
In eager anticipation of the next day’s Cyres Event Series Launch, I went to sleep.
