Yesterday evening, talking in Cyres Cafe Antwerp about Cyres Cafe Peace City, that we’re also building, a young lady asked a great question:

In Cyres Cafe Peace City, will I be able to chat with people who speak a different language, in other words, will there be a translation feature available, so I, as a Flemish speaker, could talk with, for example, someone of my age who speaks English?

Thank You for your question.

(You can ask more questions, by simply clicking on ‘Contribute a Comment’, below.)

I am thrilled with the ways that onworld questions expand to online answers here, and, the other way around. Cyres is a beautiful blend of onworld and online experience for people all round the world. Questioning and answering. Grounded reality and virtual reality.

I promised the young lady her answer here today:

We’re not (yet) aware of any software that will translate in real time, what is entered into a chat. Our Staff includes Anna in Belgium (so you’re in luck there!) and Sza who is in Budapest, and that is currently the extent of our foreign language speakers.

It is our intention in Peace City ‘CYRES World’, to attract Greeters, who will stand at The Main Entrance and greet Guests in many languages.

Our expectations for Communications within ‘CYRES World’ are high.
