About a year ago, when I was contemplating the idea of setting up Cyres Café, I was confronted with fear because of the huge financial and other repercussions this idea would create once I decided to bring it into reality. On a Sunday afternoon, when walking up to the building I was planning on buying, and where now Cyres Café Belgium will be opened at the end of this year, something beautiful happened:
As I arrived and walked into the street where the building is, I was thinking “Can I do it, or is it out of my reach this moment?”. Suddenly, as I am passing the doorstep of the adjacent house, a man walks out of the door and is all set to go jogging. On his T-shirt I notice the writing ‘IT CAN BE DONE’. I was so struck by this message that it took me an hour to recover from such beauty. The message was so clear, that for me, I had my go signal. The next week, I bought the house.
The people I have met since then, and the signs I received from that moment on, are, to say the least, stunning. I know that Cyres Café, and the level to which we want to bring it, is a huge undertaking, extremely creative, and it opens me up every day more and more. Now, one year later, I could never have imagined I would get so far … and I know it is only the beginning. I am allowing in myself an ever more deep level of faith and trust and just as in ‘The Secret’
If anything, Cyres Café wants to inspire to dream big, to go far, to live more. Cyres Café, by its own example, wants to show for those who feel connected that it can be done.
