“Hag Sameach” is Hebrew for “Happy Holiday”!

Hanukkah, also mainly spelt Hanukah or Chanukah, and known as the Festival of Lights or the Festival of Dedication, is an eight day Jewish holiday.

It begins on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may be any time from late November to late December.

This year it is sunset December 4th to sunset December 13th.

It celebrates the rededication of the Second Temple at the time of the Maccabee rebellion.
