Today in Cyres World, we took a little break and gathered together to talk about THINGS. It’s so good to talk about things. We always part ways with new ideas and greater understanding. I can’t remember a conversation that did not add to me in some way.
Today’s THINGS talked about, were the little ones. Little things that each of us had decided, on purpose, to surround ourselves with, to make sure we always had something to look at that made us feel GOOD. We talked of special tea. (Opening a new box of tea can be thrilling!) We spoke of music, and of scents that give us feelings of well-being with every breath. We spoke of purposeful placement of pictures so that we can easily put our eyes on them.
In essence creating a feel good feast for the eyes and senses in the places we spend the most time.
Isn’t this valuable?
Imagine, always having something near at hand, to activate your feelings of appreciation.
Now, imagine the Reality Experience Self you would Create from that place.
Wondering…. what little Things make your heart beat faster?
Curious to know. I still have some open spots on my desk
Much Love, CAnn

“Isn’t this valuable?” Absolutely! In fact; nothing could be more important. Happiness requires constant attention to thoughts and things that make us happy; and that is a valuable resource state to learn and master! We don’t always have those things around to make us happy; but if we have practiced enough, we can recall that state at will — no matter where we are, or what our surroundings.
I have pictures of the things I love — Jennifer, Jake, Sedona, the Canadian Rockies, Desert, Mountains, San Francisco, and Montana — in the places I work, in the bathroom, and all the places I might spend time during the day. I have guitars in each of the two places where I write — an acoustic guitar here by my laptop, and a wall of electric guitars hanging behind Jennifer’s computer in our office/studio…
Candles, incense, and my favorite and most-referenced books, along with various rocks/stones/etc are among the other ornaments that keep me in “my state.” Of course, I share this space; and I do enjoy seeing Jennifer’s tea tins lined-up, and the little things that make her happy — because that’s another thing that brings me joy.
Thanks for this reminder. The greatest joy can indeed be found in the smallest things and the most unusual places!
Namaste!

What ‘Little Things’ make my heart beat faster?
At my Hot Desk, while I’m creating and allowing, these sensational experiences are with me today:
The aroma of a Cyres Coffee.
A little biscuit.
A fresh flower or two or more.
A gorgeous little notebook and pen for growing ideas.
The day’s ‘Placemat’ (see Abraham-Hicks).
The day’s mail from Cyres Fans.
Thanks for asking the question.
Love,
Jane
