The Opus is by far the best personal development movie yet. A Opus é de longe o melhor filme ainda o desenvolvimento pessoal. I agree. Eu concordo. The show was the greatest thus far. O show foi o maior até agora. I think comparing it to the secret is not the best thing to do, because the secret isn’t even in the same league. The Opus is by far the best presonal development movie ever. A Opus é de longe o melhor filme de todos presonal desenvolvimento. For the first time we have a film that delivers instead of just playing around with abstract ideas and non sense concepts. Pela primeira vez temos um filme que entrega em vez de brincar um pouco com idéias abstratas e não senso conceitos. The Opus is practical, informative, entertaining, powerful and effective. A Opus é prática, informativa, divertida, poderoso e eficaz. I am definitely a fan and await with eagerness to watch what Mr. Vermeeren will be doing next. Estou, sem dúvida, um ventilador e aguardamos com expectativa para assistir o que vai fazer o Sr. Vermeeren próximo. He has defintiely raised the bar on what is expected in films of this kind. I went to the premiere in Edmonton and Calgary. Fui para a estréia, em Edmonton e Calgary. And it was even better in Edmonton. E foi ainda melhor, em Edmonton. There were too many people in Calgary and it felt a little bit like a frenzy. Havia muitas pessoas em Calgary e se se sentia um pouco como um frenesi. I got a chance to meet Douglas Vermeeren, but in Calgary we couldn’t even get close to him. Luan mitchell spoke and I bought her book, one of the other speakers from The Opus and I can’t remember his name. The Opus far surpasses the Secret in everyway. O Opus longe supera a Secret em everyway. The information is better, the story is better, the music is better, the feeling of inspiration is better. A informação é melhor, a história é melhor, a música é melhor, o sentimento de inspiração é melhor. It is just an all around better movie. Trata-se de tudo um pouco em torno de melhor filme. The secret was great for what they were trying to do, but this movie actually teaches you something useful. O segredo foi muito bem para aquilo que eles estavam a tentar fazer, mas este filme ensina-lhe alguma coisa realmente útil. Go see it. Vá vê-lo.

Have you noticed … how we put ourselves in self-imposed prison by giving things, in our now experience, disempowering references to everything they’ve meant in our life before now, even if the references are things we heard / read and didn’t even experience! Você já reparou… saber como colocar-nos em auto-imposta prisão por dar coisas, agora na nossa experiência, disempowering referências de tudo o que significava que eles na nossa vida até agora, mesmo se as referências são coisas que temos ouvido / lido e não experiência mesmo! I notice generalizations tripping off tongues around me and wonder, is that really true, is that now, is that applicable to all as you are making it, is that what you want to give attention to, could you create a new reality? Eu aviso generalizações tropeçar em torno off lábios e pergunto-me, é verdade que, na verdade, é que agora, que é aplicável a todos os que você está fazendo isso, é que o que você quer dar a atenção, você poderá criar uma nova realidade?

I have a friend who works with me in the office. Tenho um amigo que trabalha comigo no escritório. She opened up to me about her desire to retire and the fear she felt about the change to her income that this would bring. Ela abriu-me sobre seu desejo de reformar o medo e sentiu-se sobre a mudança de sua renda que este traria.

We talked about the basics of pensions and outgoings, before we got to the root of the matter. Falámos sobre os conceitos básicos das pensões e despesas, antes de nós começamos à raiz da questão.
She felt she was financially trapped in a work situation because of her worry about finances in the future. Ela sentiu que ela estava financeiramente aprisionado em um trabalho de sua situação, porque se preocupar com finanças, no futuro. She felt that she had been left with no choice! Ela considerou que ela havia sido deixada sem nenhuma escolha!

This was having a detrimental effect on her ability to work. Isso estava tendo um efeito negativo sobre a sua capacidade para o trabalho. She was checking things over and over again, staying late at work, taking on other people’s work, partly because she likes to help people and partly because of a fear that she might be considered too old to do her job. Ela estava verificando coisas, uma e outra vez, ficando tarde no trabalho, tendo a outras pessoas do trabalho, em parte porque ela gosta de ajudar as pessoas e, em parte devido a um receio de que ela possa ser considerado demasiado velho para fazer seu trabalho.

Realistically, this was adding too much to her workload. Realisticamente, esta era demasiado acrescentando a ela carga de trabalho. It was having the effect of making her appear grumpy, as she was unhappy with her work / finances situation … and it showed! Foi o efeito de fazê-la aparecer grumpy, como ela estava descontente com o seu trabalho / finanças situação… e ele mostrou!

I suggested to her that she be realistic about the extra work she kept taking on. Eu sugeria a que ela ser realista acerca do trabalho extra que ela manteve a tomar. I reminded her that nobody makes her unhappy, she has chosen to do that to herself and only she could choose to think differently. Me lembrar-lhe que ninguém faz seu infeliz, ela optou por fazer a si própria e que só ela poderia optar por outras formas de pensar. Encouraged her to dissolve her fear before acting by talking it out. Encorajados a ela para dissolver o seu medo antes de agir, falando-lo. We then talked about the future in hopeful ways and about expecting good things. Em seguida, falou sobre a esperança no futuro e sobre as formas esperando coisas boas.

The flowers in my living room are not anxious. As flores na minha sala de estar não estão ansiosos. They do not choose to experience needless worries! Eles não escolhem a experiência inúteis se preocupe!

In her panic, she had made a mountain out of a molehill in regard to her future finances. Em seu pânico, ela tinha feito uma montanha de um molehill no que diz respeito ao seu futuro finanças.

We always have choices - and yet, we try hard to ignore this and give ourselves a hard time by worrying. Temos sempre escolhas - e, no entanto, é difícil de tentar ignorar este e dar-nos uma dura por tempo preocupante.

Often, this worrying can adversely affect the very ‘problem’ we are supposedly trying to avoid. Muitas vezes, esta preocupante pode afectar negativamente a própria 'problema' que supostamente estão a tentar evitar.

I suppose that ‘problem’ is an emotive word that is not helping our perception of things. Eu suponho que o "problema" é uma palavra que não é emotiva ajudando a nossa percepção das coisas.

It is also my most widely read text (according to statistics made two months later, close to 500.000.000 persons read).
