The Opus is by far the best personal development movie yet. فإن التأليف هو الى حد بعيد افضل شخصية التنمية الفيلم حتى الان. As a resource or tool for people wanting to get to their goals it is second to none. كمورد او اداة للاشخاص الراغبين في الوصول الى اهدافها ، ومن الثانية الى لا شيء. It blew the secret completely out of the water. انه فجر السرية تماما من الماء. The only thing I really left with from the secret was “Thoughts become things.” The opus taught me far more than that. الشيء الوحيد الذي أنا حقا من اليسار مع سرية "الافكار اصبح من الامور." تعلمت من تأليف اكثر من ذلك بكثير. In fact, everything I actually needed to get started and get to my goals. في الواقع ، أنا كل شيء يحتاج اليه فعلا للبدء في الوصول الى بلادي والاهداف. It was awesome. وكان مرعبه. I agree. انني اوافق على ذلك. The show was the greatest thus far. المعرض هو اكبر حتى الآن. I think comparing it to the secret is not the best thing to do, because the secret isn’t even in the same league. وأعتقد ان المقارنة لأنها سر ليس هو أفضل ما ينبغي عمله ، لأن سر النجاح هو ولا حتى في نفس الجامعة. Don’t get me wrong. لا يحصل لي الخطأ. It was a good show. وكان عرض جيد. But totally nothing but fluff for a new age crowd. ولكن ليس تماما ولكن زغب من اجل عصر جديد في التجمهر. It had no practical substance. ليس لديها اي مضمون عملي. The Opus was useful and powerful. فان كان مفيدا والتأليف قوية. It is a film that will change lives and actually make a difference for people.The secret can’t say that. وهو فيلم من شأنها ان تغير حياة وفعلا فرقا لpeople.the سرية لا يمكن القول ان. A lot of people became inspired because of it. الكثير من الناس وأصبح الهم بسبب ذلك. But let’s be honest it really didn’t give people much to apply in their lives. ولكن دعونا نكون صادقين فعلا لا يعطي الكثير من الناس لتطبيقها في حياتهم. The Opus does. هل فإن التأليف. And for that I applaud the creators and all the participants. لذلك وانني احيي جميع المبدعين والمشاركين. The Opus is by far the best presonal development movie ever. فان التأليف هي حتى الآن افضل من أي وقت مضى presonal التنمية الفيلم. For the first time we have a film that delivers instead of just playing around with abstract ideas and non sense concepts. لأول مرة لدينا فيلم الذي يسلم بدلا من مجرد اللعب في جميع انحاء مع الافكار المجرده وغير معني المفاهيم. The Opus is practical, informative, entertaining, powerful and effective. فإن التأليف هو عملي ، بالمعلومات ، تسلية ، قوية وفعالة. I am definitely a fan and await with eagerness to watch what Mr. Vermeeren will be doing next. انني بالتأكيد فإن وننتظر مع الحرص على مراقبة ما قاله السيد vermeeren سوف تفعل المقبل. He has defintiely raised the bar on what is expected in films of this kind. وقد اثيرت defintiely نقابه المحامين على ما هو متوقع في افلام من هذا النوع.

I went to the premiere in Edmonton and Calgary. ذهبت الى العرض في ادمونتون وكالجارى. And it was even better in Edmonton. وكان افضل حتى في ادمونتون. There were too many people in Calgary and it felt a little bit like a frenzy. كان هناك عدد كبير جدا من الناس فى كالجارى وانها تشعر قليلا مثل الهيجان. In Edmonton there were still alot of people but not as many. في ادمونتون انه لا يزال هناك الكثير من الناس ولكنها ليست كثيرة. I got a chance to meet Douglas Vermeeren, but in Calgary we couldn’t even get close to him. حصلت على فرصة لتلبية vermeeren دوغلاس ، ولكن فى كالجارى ونحن لا يمكن حتى الاقتراب منه. There was a spekaing event in the afternoon in Edmonton too. وكان هناك spekaing حدث في فترة ما بعد الظهر في ادمونتون ايضا. It was great. وكان كبير. Luan mitchell spoke and I bought her book, one of the other speakers from The Opus and I can’t remember his name. Luan تكلم ميتشل واشتريت كتابها ، واحدا من المتكلمين الآخرين من تأليف ولا استطيع تذكر اسمه. And then Doug Vermeeren spoke. وبعد ذلك تكلم vermeeren دوغ. He was awesome. وقال انه رهيبه. The information is better, the story is better, the music is better, the feeling of inspiration is better. المعلومات على نحو افضل ، والقصة على نحو أفضل ، فإن الموسيقى هي افضل والشعور الافضل للإلهام. It is just an all around better movie. وهي مجرد واحد في جميع انحاء افضل فيلم. The secret was great for what they were trying to do, but this movie actually teaches you something useful. السر الكبير هو لماذا كانوا يحاولون القيام به ، لكن هذا الفيلم في الواقع يعلم لك شيئا مفيدا. Go see it. ان اذهب.

Does one size fit all?! هل حجم واحد يناسب الجميع؟!

Have you noticed … how we put ourselves in self-imposed prison by giving things, in our now experience, disempowering references to everything they’ve meant in our life before now, even if the references are things we heard / read and didn’t even experience! … هل لاحظت كيف نضع انفسنا في السجن المفروضة ذاتيا عن طريق اعطاء الامور ، ونحن الآن في التجربه ، disempowering الاشارات الى كل ما قمت يعني في حياتنا قبل الان ، حتى وان كانت الاشارات هي الاشياء التي سمعناها / قراءة ولا وحتى التجربه! I notice generalizations tripping off tongues around me and wonder, is that really true, is that now, is that applicable to all as you are making it, is that what you want to give attention to, could you create a new reality? ألاحظ التعميمات تعثر الالسنه من حولي ، وعجب ، هو ان يصدق حقا ، هو أن الآن ، هو ان ما ينطبق على كل ما تبذلونه من انه ، هو ان ما كنت تريد ان تولي اهتماما ل، هل يمكن خلق واقع جديد؟

Are there exceptions? هل هناك استثناءات؟ Could that be our expectation? ويمكن ان نتوقع ان تكون؟ Why put all people with the same “label” in the same box? لماذا وضع كل الناس مع نفسه "العلامه" فى نفس الأطار؟ Are we labelling people based on our own limited perceptions? هل نحن شعب وضع العلامات على اساس محدود التصورات الخاصة بنا؟ Are we being compulsive or conscious when we say these things? هل نحن حاليا أو الالزامي واعية وعندما نقول هذه الأشياء؟

Are our perceptions paralyzing us or freeing us? هي هذه التصورات بالشلل او تحرير لنا نحن؟

How present are we to our perceptions? كيف يتم هذا ونحن لدينا تصورات؟

Further to Mum’s post talking out the subject of needless worries about the future having a detrimental effect on our life now … living in fear in the future and missing out on the potential of now … كذلك لامي في فترة ما بعد الحديث الى موضوع لا داعي القلق حول مستقبل لها تأثير ضار على حياتنا الآن… والذين يعيشون في خوف في المستقبل والمفقودين على امكانات الآن…

Whether you believe in Jesus or not, what could we notice from these words now?: اذا كنت تعتقد في يسوع ام لا ، فان ما يمكن ان نلاحظه من هذا الكلام الآن؟ :

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. 25 "ولذلك اقول لك ، لا ان تكون حريصة عن حياتك ، انك ما ياكلون او ما لك والشراب ، ولا عن جسدك ، ما كنت اطرح على. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day. واود اليوم نفسه المتاعب تكون كافية لهذا اليوم.

Anxiety, a state of uneasiness and apprehension, as about future uncertainties, is neither necessary nor helpful. القلق ، وحالة من عدم الارتياح والقلق ، كما اوجه عدم اليقين ازاء المستقبل ، وليس من الضروري ولا من المفيد. It makes us heavy and slower and more indecisive. وهو ما يجعلنا الثقيلة وأبطأ وأكثر غير حاسم. As Mum mentioned, being anxious is not fun for those around you either! كما ذكر أمي ، التي تتوق ليست متعة لتلك أما من حولك! I like Pete Koerner’s first word in reply to my question, “What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?” - “Relax”. احب بيت كورنر اول كلمة في الرد على سؤالي ، "ما هو افضل نصيحه كنت قد اعطيت من اي وقت مضى؟" -- "الاسترخاء". Aaahh.
Now is the best time to free yourself from needless worries. والان هو أفضل وقت لتحرير نفسك من هموم لا داعي لها.

Flowers do not compete or create effort and stress, they simply add to the beauty of the whole. الزهور لا تتنافس او انشاء الجهد والاجهاد ، اضافة الى انها ببساطة جمال الجامعة.

What part are we playing in the colourful carpet of creation? هل نحن جزء ما تقوم به في خلق الالوان من السجاد؟ Are we being a flow~er? هل نحن ويجري تدفق ~ ايه؟

Today, would you consider growing from fretting to the fragrance of fun and flow? واليوم ، هل تنظر الى القلق المتزايد من العطر للمرح والتدفق؟

I have a friend who works with me in the office. لي صديق من يعمل معي في المكتب. She opened up to me about her desire to retire and the fear she felt about the change to her income that this would bring. وقالت انها فتحت لي عن رغبتها في ان يتقاعد والخوف وقالت انها ترى حول التغيير دخل لها ان ذلك من شأنه ان تحقيق.

We talked about the basics of pensions and outgoings, before we got to the root of the matter. تحدثنا عن اساسيات والمعاشات والنفقات ، وقبل وصولنا الى جذور المساله.
She felt she was financially trapped in a work situation because of her worry about finances in the future. وقالت انها ترى انها المحاصرين ماليا فى حالة العمل بسبب عملها تقلق بشأن الأموال في المستقبل. She felt that she had been left with no choice! وقالت انها ترى انها لم يترك اي خيار!

This was having a detrimental effect on her ability to work. وكان هذا له تأثير ضار على قدرتها على العمل. She was checking things over and over again, staying late at work, taking on other people’s work, partly because she likes to help people and partly because of a fear that she might be considered too old to do her job. واعربت عن فحص الاشياء مرارا وتكرارا ، يسهر في العمل ، آخذة على غيرها من عمل الناس ، ويرجع ذلك جزئيا إلى انها تحب مساعدة الناس ويعود ذلك جزئيا الى الخوف من انها يمكن ان تعتبر قديمة جدا للقيام بوظيفتها.

Realistically, this was adding too much to her workload. واقعيا ، وكان هذا اضافة الى الكثير من العمل لها. It was having the effect of making her appear grumpy, as she was unhappy with her work / finances situation … and it showed! وكان لها اثر القاء كلمتها يبدو حاد الطبع ، كما قالت انها غير راضيه عن عملها / الحاله المالية وتبين أن…!

I suggested to her that she be realistic about the extra work she kept taking on. اقترحت لها ان تكون واقعيه واعربت عن العمل الاضافي وقالت انها ابقت على اتخاذ. I reminded her that nobody makes her unhappy, she has chosen to do that to herself and only she could choose to think differently. وذكرت لها ان لا احد يجعل لها التعيس ، وقالت أنها اختارت ان تفعل ذلك لنفسها وقالت انها يمكن ان تختار الا ان نفكر بطريقة مختلفة. Encouraged her to dissolve her fear before acting by talking it out. شجعتها على الخوف حل لها قبل ان يتحدث بالنيابة عن طريق ذلك. We then talked about the future in hopeful ways and about expecting good things. ثم تحدث عن الامل في المستقبل وحول سبل تتوقع الاشياء الجيدة.

The flowers in my living room are not anxious. الزهور في بلدي غرفة المعيشة ليست حريصة. They do not choose to experience needless worries! إنها لا لزوم لها خبرة في اختيار لهموم!

In her panic, she had made a mountain out of a molehill in regard to her future finances. الذعر والهلع في بلدها ، وقالت انها قدمت من الجبال في الكومه الترابية بالنسبة لعملها في المستقبل المالية.

We always have choices - and yet, we try hard to ignore this and give ourselves a hard time by worrying. علينا دائما خيارات -- وحتى الآن ، ونحن نحاول من الصعب تجاهل هذا واحد من الصعب ان نعطي انفسنا الوقت مثيرة للقلق من قبل.

Often, this worrying can adversely affect the very ‘problem’ we are supposedly trying to avoid. في كثير من الاحيان ، وهذا القلق يمكن ان تؤثر تاثيرا سلبيا للغاية 'مشكلة' ونحن ويفترض ان تحاول ان تتجنب.

I suppose that ‘problem’ is an emotive word that is not helping our perception of things. افترض ان 'مشكلة' هي كلمة للمشاعر ان لا يساعد في تصورنا للامور.

So, back to basics, again, *smile* ……. ذلك ، العودة الى الاساسيات ، ومرة أخرى ، تلك الابتسامه * *…….

I wrote the letter below in March 9, 2003, ten days before the invasion of Iraq. لقد كتبت رسالة في اذار / مارس 9 أدناه ، عام 2003 ، قبل عشرة ايام من غزو العراق. The letter was the most widely read text in that week, being reproduced by the main newspapers in the world, from Japan to Brasil, from France to Indonesia. وكانت هذه الرسالة على اوسع نطاق قراءة النص في ذلك الأسبوع ، لنشرها من قبل الصحف الرئيسية في العالم ، من اليابان الى البرازيل ، من فرنسا الى اندونيسيا. It is also my most widely read text (according to statistics made two months later, close to 500.000.000 persons read). كما انه من بلادي اكثر قراءة النص على نطاق واسع (وفقا للاحصاءات التي تقدم بعد مضي شهرين ، قريبة من الاشخاص قراءة 500.000.000).
