Some time ago, I came across a beautiful poem that stole my heart.

It is called ‘The Calf Path’.

‘The Calf Path’ talks about a calf that gets lost in the woods. Others follow in the footsteps of the calf, and after generations a city is born by those that trod in the calf’s footsteps. A city forgetting the origin of the story, a story really without any meaning, filled with silliness.

Many people do ’silly’ things just because it’s the way it’s always been done, without getting a proper answer as to why it needs to be done.

A lot of us lose precious time from the limited lifespan we have on earth, walking the life others want us to walk, doing what we should do, living the life others want us to live.

We can get pressure from family and friends and colleagues, people we’ve just met, and people we’ve never met, urging us to take the so called easy way, to follow the prevailing wisdom. It can be a challenge not to simply accept the status quo and do what’s expected of you. People will ‘should’ all over you if you allow them. But, you have a choice. When you truly believe, in yourself, and in your dream, you can take control and make your vision a reality. You can Create Your Reality Experience Self.

Here at the platform for possibilities, a number of people I know watched The Secret on Oprah and are now very interested in more information and how to put it into (inspired) action. Active is attractive! It’s a lively discussion about The Law of Attraction over latte. Filled with fun. Feeling the buzz while basking over blueberry muffins! Loving listening to all the possibilities.

The talk and the walk is flowing here at Cyres Café.

As well as The Oprah Winfrey Show on The Secret, there was also a segment on Larry King Live, a special on The Secret, which aired November 2nd 2006.

The buzz is building in this building and beyond … Rhonda Byrne and Jack Canfield were Live on CNN last night (America 10:30 PM EST). CNN carved out 30 minutes of their hour long newscast hosted by Rick Sanchez to report on The Secret.

It is a long-known truth that there is so much more in us than we currently use; such an indescribable potential lying inside of us that is there to be unlocked. Some have always known it and used it.

This is one of the first times in history that consciousness is about to break open on this. The change is in the air, everyone feels there are some major things to change.

We live in an extraordinary time, where pioneering thoughts are born, and the promise for the upcoming years is phenomenal as to all the inventions and new insights that are about to abolish old, worn out and limited thinking.

The feature film Conversations with God is the true story of bestselling author Neale Donald Walsch.

Just a few years before he wrote his first book, Neale Donald Walsch was homeless with a broken neck and dumpster-diving for tin cans to have enough money to eat.
